Yeah, so that bluetooth phone I’m getting?

When I submitted my order last week it was going for $109.99, but I still hadn’t heard anything on how my order was progressing by today, so I called to find out what was going on. Apparently my order got stuck in an error queue (as often happens with their web orders, they said), so they ended up re-placing my order. While the nice Cingular rep was doing this, she noticed that the phone I had ordered was now on promotion, so now I’m getting it for $90 less.

w00t!

Also, they were able to transfer my number, so I won’t have to chase people for the next few months to tell them what my new number will be. And whatever they did, I noticed that my current phone lost some of its abilities, so it looks like it’s a done deal and I should have a new phone in the next day or two. Now I just need to get a bluetooth module for my iBook and I’ll be all set.
